Romney Marsh

 

walk from dover to nearby village and back

I set off to climb the hill that you can see here, which is close to my home. 

From part way up the hill

at the top of the hill it's all meadow

and then some farms with little poorly made country lanes

a horse and donkey sanctuary

an ancient church

tiny country lanes

great rolling vistas, seemingly timeless. 

I scared the poor animals when i pointed my phone at them 

                                          more from the rolling vistas 
 I could barely walk afterwards because my boots were inadequate. After this i bought socks and insoles for the boots so as not to completely bugger myself up in future.
